Patricia Huchteman is an advanced certified paralegal with more than 20 years’ experience providing comprehensive legal support to lawyers engaged in a broad range of litigation at the state, federal and appellate levels. Over the course of her career, her work has allowed her to gain valuable experience and insight into the areas of business and corporate, commercial, employment, energy, oil & gas, healthcare, insurance, personal injury and product liability litigation.
Since embarking on a legal career in 1993, Patricia has worked on numerous complex, high-volume cases from inception to conclusion and has developed extensive experience undertaking case management, performing legal and factual research, handling all forms of document production, data management and e-discovery, drafting and preparing pleadings and other legal documents, meeting with clients and witnesses in preparation for depositions and trial, preparing exhibits, providing on-site litigation support at trial using industry-leading document management and trial presentation technology, and assisting with post-trial and appellate matters.
Patricia graduated with an associate’s degree in paralegal studies from Tulsa Junior College (now Tulsa Community College) in 1991 and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Oklahoma State University in 1992. In addition to having attained her certified paralegal designation from the National Association of Legal Assistants in 1996, she holds the distinction of having earned advanced certified paralegal credentials in both Trial Practice (2009) and Discovery (2010). In 2015, Patricia successfully completed the intensive AccessData “Summation Support Specialist” program and holds the following three certifications: Summation Certified Case Manager (SCCM), Summation Certified Administrator (SCA), and Summation Certified Enduser (SCE). Patricia is a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants.
